FEB 2011 CONTEST -- VEGETABLE AND FRUIT CARVING

Bring out your artistic talent and weaponary for carving masterpieces from vegetables and fruits.

Rules for the contest:

1) Carving has to be based on a theme.
2) Do mention your inspiration for the theme and any tag line that you would give for your entry.
3) Mention the vegetables and fruits used.
4) One entry per person per theme.
5) Vegetables / fruits/ leafy vegetables can be used.
6) Any props used will not be considered for judging.
7) 2 pictures per entry. Collage pictures not allowed.

Last date for entries : 20th Feb
Blog and poll creation : 22nd Feb
Results on 28th Feb.

కూరగాయలు, పండ్లతో కనుల విందైన మీ సృజనాత్మకతని వెలికి తియ్యండి .
ఈ పోటికి పాటించవలసిన నియమాలు :
1 ) మీరు చేసే బొమ్మ సందేశాత్మకంగా ఉండాలి
2 ) మీరు ఎంచుకున్న అంశానికి స్ఫూర్తి మరియు దానిని వివరించే వ్యాఖ్య వ్రాయగలరు.
3 ) ఒక్కరికి ఒక అంశం మాత్రమే అనుమతించబడుతుంది
4) కూరగాయలు, ఆకు కూరలు, పండ్లు మాత్రమే ఉపయోగించవలెను.
5) మీరు వాడిన కూరగాయలు, పండ్లని సూచించ వలెను
6 ) బొమ్మలలో వాడిన మిగతా వస్తువులు పోటి లోకి తీసుకోనబడవు
7 ) పాల్గొనే వారు 2 ఛాయాచిత్రములని పంపవలెను ( గమనిక : ఇవి మీవి మాత్రమే అయి ఉండవలెను)

మీ ప్రవేశాన్ని పంపవలసిన ఆఖరు తేది 20th ఫిబ్రవరి .

కళని అందరి అభిప్రాయం కోసం ప్రద్రశించే తేది 22nd ఫిబ్రవరి

విజేతలని ప్రకటించే తేది 28th ఫిబ్రవరి

 

January 2011 Contest

Welcome to the First contest of the New Year 2011. Lets welcome this New Year with the cuteness of the Kids through our contest "Adireti Dress Memu Veste" , Fancy dress competition for the kids of TIAns. So
Get ready Moms.



Guidelines of the Contest:

1. Only 1 picture allowed per entry.

2. A single full length picture of the kid has to be submitted. Picture collages are not allowed.

3. Participant has to send the picture of their own kid. Picture should be original. Photos downloaded from the internet are not accepted.

4. Theme for the fancy dress competition is “Pongal” and “Republic Day”.You are allowed to use any kinds of props as long as it is related to the given theme.

5. Age Limit of kids 12 yrs or younger , (0-12yrs)

6. Every Picture Should have a sentence or a caption describing your picture. This sentence will not be used in judging the photo, but will be useful in understanding the participant's point of view.

7. The caption is limited to 3 lines only.

8. Picture can be in any format .

9. Photo should not be older than 1 month.

10. Please specify your name and name of the kid as you wish to appear in the certificates while submitting the entry.

Examples for the Republic day Theme:
Children can be made to dress up like famous national leaders, politicians, and other famous personalities.
Gandhiji, Jawarharlal Nehru, King Akbar, Shivaji Maharaj, Tipu Sultan, Hitler.

Examples for the Pongal Theme:
Children can be made to dress up like Indian traditional costumes , Gods and Pongal special costumes as Haridasu, Farmer,du du basavanna,etc.
